Volunteers play are a huge role at Farset and add tremendous value to our services, from engaging with rough sleepers on the street to supporting people in new accommodation, to providing food and in our retail operations.

Outreach

To help homelessness further in Northern Ireland, Farset Hotel has invested into a mobile outreach van to take the streets of Belfast with a team of volunteers to feed and clothe those who are less fortunate and living on the streets. Supporting some of the most vulnerable people in our community who are experiencing a range of issues such as homelessness, social isolation and unemployment, the outreach van are a vital community service for men, women and children forced to live rough.

People who visit the outreach van are provided with a hot, nutritious meal, fruit, drinks, blankets, clothing and food vouchers, donated books, social connection and referrals to other community service and Government agencies.
